Hiking package on Ameland
Put on your walking shoes and come and enjoy a few days of fresh air on Ameland!
The Hiking package includes:
- Accommodation in a holiday home, flat, hotel or room rental
- Boat ticket p.p. for the ferry Holwerd - Ameland v.v.
- Voucher for a cup of coffee with cake p.p.
- Voucher for an information package (one per booking), consisting of: the Ameland Guide, the booklet Walking on Ameland*, a topographical map of Ameland*, an Ameland key ring and a jar of Ameland mustard. All this packed in a nice Ameland backpack.

Ferry
- The Hiking package includes a boat ticket for the regular ferry from Holwerd - Ameland and v.v. Do you want to travel with the fast ferry? Then buy your own supplementary ticket via Wagenborg Passagiersdiensten.
- Want to bring your own car with you to Ameland? Then make a car reservation at Wagenborg Passagiersdiensten.
Validity
- Valid until arrival 22-12-2023 and subject to availability.
- Can only be booked via VVV Ameland.
- Valid only for new bookings.
- Not valid in combination with other offers and/or discounts.
- When booking, check carefully that you are booking the Cycling Package.
- Check your booking confirmation. You have booked the package if it says 'Hiking package'.
Travel documents
- Travel documents will be sent by post after receipt of payment. Booking less than 5 days before arrival is not possible.
- Per booking, you will receive one voucher for a cycle route booklet* and one voucher for a topographical map*. On presentation of these vouchers, you can collect a cycle route booklet and a topographical map from VVV Ameland in Nes or Hollum.
* Only available in Dutch and German
Other conditions
- The value of the package cannot be paid in cash.
- Excluding any additional costs such as tourist tax, bed linen, final cleaning, etc. If these costs apply, they will be shown on our site when you make a reservation.
- With some accommodation you have to provide your own bed linen, please read the description of the accommodation carefully.
