Bike route ‘Ameland Route’ – 45 km

The classic among the cycling routes on Ameland.
The Ameland route takes you on a tour around the four characteristic villages of the island. Along the way, you cross dunes, forests, and polders, and pass traces of whaling and island culture.

Bike route ‘Oerderduinen’ – 25 km

For nature lovers who want to explore East Ameland.
The Oerderduinen route focuses on the unique nature area ‘Het Oerd’, where you will encounter rare plants, breeding birds, and expansive dune landscapes along the way. You also cycle a stretch along the Wadden Sea dike with a view of the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.

For those who don't want to miss a highlight.
The Amelandroute XXL is an extra-long route of 60 km across the entire island. You cycle through dunes, forests, polders, and along the four villages, with views of both the Wadden Sea and the North Sea along the way. A perfect mix of nature, culture, and variety.
