Description

Kloosterhiem is divided over 2 buildings. The sleeping accommodations are separated from the kitchen and dining / recreation room. All rooms have central heating and you have the entire accommodation as a group alone. You have a large, fully equipped (hotel) kitchen with a freezer, refrigerator, large 6-burner stove with 2 industrial burners, oven, roasting pan, coffee maker, large slicer and a washing machine and dryer. There is a spacious room for 80 people, a recreation / dining room with sitting area and TV with cable TV. There is a smaller separate room with a coin-operated telephone and a safe for the supervisors / teachers. In the sleeping quarters you will find bunk beds or single beds: * 1 bedroom for 2 people with a disability, with private bathroom * 2 bedrooms for 4 people, with private bathroom * 3 bedrooms for 6 people, with private bathroom * 1 bedroom for 14 people, with private bathroom * 1 dormitory for 30 people with private bathroom All sleeping accommodations are equipped with a private shower-toilet and washing facilities. All you need to bring is a pillowcase, mattress cover / fitted sheet and a sleeping bag. Behind the 'Kloosterhiem' is a large (play) meadow of 3000 m2 with a volleyball field and a football field, outside table tennis and swings. You also have your own parking lot.

Holiday home & Group accommodation 'Kloosterhiem' is located on the edge of the village of Buren.
Location: Quiet, detached and safely located at the back of the yard, free from neighbors and traffic. With spacious playing field and private parking.
Within walking distance of the center with 2 bus stops. The North Sea beach is 1200 meters and the sea dike / Wadden Sea (world heritage) is approximately 700 meters from the accommodation. You can walk straight into the polder / miede from Kloosterhiem.

At approx. 2000 m. the kooiplaats with adjacent nature reserves 'kooikersduinen' and 'het Oerd' is located on the east side of Ameland. The village of Nes with various entertainment options and shopping streets is about 1500 meters away.

A short distance from the ferry with good bus service to the village. In short, everything is close by. Distances to do by bike or on foot.
