In the villages of Hollum, Ballum, and Nes, you can participate in guided tours and visit various monuments and churches during Open Monument Day.
In addition, in Nes the De Phenix mill and the Ameland Culture Museum are open, and in Hollum the De Verwachting mill and Sorgdrager museum. You can recognize the open buildings by the flag with the Open Monument Day logo.

Official opening
On Saturday, September 13 at 10:00, William Beijaard, director of the Ameland Museums Foundation (STAM), will open the Open Monument Days by raising the flag at the Ameland Culture Museum (Kerkplein 1) in Nes. You are warmly welcome to attend this.
Practical
All activities are free. Participating museums are freely accessible this weekend. Visitors with a Museum Card can bring it along.
