Frequently asked questions about accommodation on Ameland - Tourist Information Centre VVV Ameland.

What is the difference between a house, bungalow and apartment?

A house is in one of the villages of Ameland. A bungalow is situated outside the village centres, usually on a bungalow park or in a forest- and dune area. An apartment is an accommodation on its own in a apartment building, but it can also be part of a house in the village with your own bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
