If you are interested in experiencing a special, interesting, and funny walking tour, with true stories that are hard to believe, look no further than the O.P. Lap Storytelling trail. Jeanet de Jong will tell you all about captain Olfert Pieter Lap.
The Hollum native was captain in the merchant Navy and came back from the Dutch Indies with the most beautiful and delicious merchandise. Stories about Lap, his work, his vessel, his kindness, and his last journey will be recounted in stages at key locations in the village. It promises to be an interesting and amusing stroll, starting in the street carrying the Olfert Pieter Lap name, and continuing through the village.
