In the wide polder area between Hollum and Bollum, at the corner of the Pietje Miedeweg and the Ridderweg is Kaasboerderij (cheese farm) Ameland. Here cheese is being made according to traditional methods. From the shop you can see the cheese being made and the warehouse from behind glass. The cheese is free of artificial colouring and flavouring and has a pure natural flavour. There are different kinds of natural and herb cheese.
