"De Vleijen"
Between Nes and Buren on Ameland recreation area "De Vleijen"can be found. The winding shell paths allow you to meander along small dunes, trees, bushes, and water.
Children can entertain themselves using the different play structures available, such as slides, a climbing pole, a raft, and a castle on a little island right in the middle of the pond.
In winter, if the water is sufficiently frozen, part of "De Vleijen" is used for ice skating.
