Can my dog run free on Ameland?

Your dog can not run free everywhere. Your dog has to be leashed in the villages, on the beaches and in the forest. Dogs are not allowed on playgrounds for children. This ban does not apply if your dog accompanies you, such as a guide dog. Excrement of dogs needs to cleaned up right away.
